A U.S. Army paratrooper from the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment descents onto the Donnelly Drop Zone near Delta Junction, Alaska, Oct. 12, 2016. The Army introduced the T-11 Advance Tactical Parachute System in 2010 (replacing the T-10), resulting in a reduction of more than 50 percent of parachute-related injuries. This is significant for deployed Soldiers conducting parachute operations in Iraq and Afghanistan who can average loads of 327 to 380 pounds. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Steven R. Doty)
