Eighteen members of a Capstone class arrived at JTF-Haiti headquarters for a brief tour led by Maj. Gen. Simeon Trombitas, commanding general, JTF-Haiti, on May 19. LSA Dragon was only one stop of a busy day. The party visited the U.S. Embassy, took a Blackhawk tour of Port-au-Prince and then was escorted by MINUSTAH forces during a vehicle tour of down town Port-au-Prince. The visit to Haiti was part of the group's two week tour of Latin America. Capstone is a joint service military education six week course for newly promoted brigadier generals and rear admirals, as well as civilian workers with the Department of Defense. The class continued their two week trip with a visit to the Dominican Republic the following day.
