Crane Army Ammunition Activity hosted U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 983rd Engineering Battalion from Monclova, Ohio, July 18-Aug. 14. Crane Army supplied reservists with housing facilities at the Crane Ammunition and Logistics Center and construction materials. The 983rd brought their own heavy construction equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes. Crane Army and the 983rd worked together to achieve two goals—the 983rd’s training requirements and the improvement of CAAA’s infrastructure.
