Major Carl Holcomb, of Mechanicsville, Va., meet with Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, headquartered in Lynchburg, Va., on a convoy staging lane at Contingency Operating Base Adder in Iraq. The 1/116th is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Louisiana National Guard's 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
