Virginia National Guard Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Robert Newman, of Richmond, Va., and State Command Sgt. Maj. Carl Newcomb, of Mechanicsville, Va., walk with the curator of the Ziggurat of Ur and Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment near Contingency Operating Base Adder in Iraq. The state commanders flew in to visit with the Soldiers who are currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Louisiana National Guard's 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary).
