Carl Holcomb, of Mechanicsville, Va., listen in on a convoy briefing for Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, headquartered in Lynchburg, Va., at Contingency Operating Base Adder in Iraq. The state commanders flew in to visit with the Soldiers who are currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Louisiana National Guard's 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
