U.S. Air Force Col. Blaine Holt, the director of the Transit Center at Manas, presents a Kyrgyz flag which was flown over Afghanistan during a combat mission supporting Operation Enduring Freedom to Mr. Beshimbaev Kabylbek, the Mayor of Manas Village, Kyrgyzstan (center), during a Victory Day ceremony celebrating the end of the Great Patriotic War (World War II) and the Nazi regime in 1945. Holt also presented certificates for the flag to four living World War II veterans from Manas, who were honored during the ceremony.
