A Kyrgyz woman places flowers in front of a memorial wall, which was unveiled during a Victory Day ceremony in Manas Village, Kyrgyzstan, May 9, 2010. This day marked the end of the Great Patriotic War (World War II) and the end of the Nazi regime in 1945. During the event, this memorial wall was unveiled with about 50 names etched in stone of Manas patriots who died during the war, including this woman's loved one. The mayor invited Col. Blaine Holt and Chief Master Sgt. James Dowell, the director and command chief for the Transit Center at Manas, to participate in the event.
