Pvt. Prescott Doctor learns pivoting movements for live-fire ranges, July 25, 2016, on Motutapu Island, Tonga, during a multi-national, bilateral exercise between U.S. Marines, Sailors and Tongan Soldiers as part of Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The service members conducted range etiquette classes and static live-fire ranges, working up to kinetic, live-fire ranges, incorporating engineers and assaultmen using explosives to clear obstacles, with assistance from combat rubber raiding crafts to operationalize USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2), to increase interoperability and relations. Doctor is an infantryman with Tonga Royal Guard, His Majesty’s Armed Forces. The Marines and Sailors with Task Force Koa Moana are originally assigned to I and III Marine Expeditionary Force.
