U.S. Marines and Tongan Soldiers await the command to fire during live-fire range training, July 25, 2016, on Motutapu Island, Tonga, during a multi-national, bilateral exercise as part of Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The service members started with classes and will work up to a kinetic, live-fire range incorporating demolition for an obstacle breach, with assistance from combat rubber raiding crafts to operationalize USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2), to increase interoperability and relations.
