PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2016) – Boatswain's Mate Seaman Faustina Deguzman, a native of Pingree Grove, Illinois, along with Sonar Technician (Submarine) 2nd Class Nicholas McCoic, a native of Janesville, Wisconsin assigned to the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), conduct map plotting during an underway in the ships bridge, May 12. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
