(April 18, 2016) - Steelworker 2nd Class Joanna Iglesias, assigned to Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1, speaks with a member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3, after a check for damage on an airfield that had been attack by simulated rocket fire during NMCB 5’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
