160418-N-HD670-215 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (April 18, 2016) - A simulated unexploded ordnance lies in the ground while a member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3 pushes back seabees, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, while assessing for possible damage on an airfield that had been attack by simulated rocket fire during NMCB 5’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
