160418-N-HD670-209 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (April 18, 2016) - Builder 3rd Class Jaime Buitzago, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, provides cover during a check for damage and possible unexploded ordnances on an airfield that had been attack by simulated rocket fire during NMCB 5’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
