(April 18, 2016) - Builder Constructionman Benjamin Fletcher, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, speaks with a member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3 about the location of a possible simulated unexploded ordnance while checking for damage on an airfield that had been attack by simulated rocket fire during NMCB 5’s Field Training Exercise (FTX). The FTX prepares and tests the battalion's ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by NCG 1.
