A Chilean member of MINUSTAH and a U.S. special operations service member work together to deliver cots to a Catholic church that is providing shelter to people who moved to Port-de-Paix, Haiti, after the Jan. 12 earthquake hit Port-au-Prince. The service member is a part of a team that has been facilitating communication between the local government, MINUSTAH and nongovernmental organizations to bring humanitarian assistance to the area. Approximately 42,000 people migrated to the northwest region of Haiti and are living in shelters or with family and friends.
