During the award ceremony, following a friendly competition between Polish and American partners, 1st Lt. Brian Elliott, a platoon leader assigned to K Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, presents a plaque and Wolfpack physical training shorts to the winning Polish team, Jan. 27, in Konotop, Poland. Ten teams each from 3-2 Cavalry and the 3rd Battalion, 12th Mechanized Brigade, Polish Army, completed a two-mile ruck march for time before donning full protective gear and shooting targets for points toward their total score. Soldiers of 3-2 Cavalry have been conducting training with Polish allies in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multinational demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies.
