Spc. Mason Propst, an infantryman assigned to K Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, fires at his target from a standing position during the stress shoot portion of a ruck march and stress shoot competition between American Polish partners, Jan. 27, in Konotop, Poland. Ten teams each from 3-2 Cav and the 3rd Battalion, 12th Mechanized Brigade, Polish Army, completed the two-mile ruck march for time before donning full protective gear and shooting targets for points toward their total score. Soldiers of 3-2 Cav have been conducting training with Polish allies in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multi-national demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies.
