Pvt. Mateusz Hofman, a Polish soldier assigned to 3rd Battalion, 12th Mechanized Brigade, fires during the during the stress shoot portion of a ruck march and stress shoot competition between American Polish partners, Jan. 27, in Konotop, Poland. Ten teams each from K Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, and the 3rd Battalion, 12th Mechanized Brigade, Polish Army, completed the two-mile ruck march for time before donning full protective gear and shooting targets for points toward their total score. Soldiers of 3-2 Cavalry have been conducting training with Polish allies in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multinational demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies.
