Iraqi policemen, Mensur Noori Sherqy and Sami Naji Anezy, stand in front of a truck used as a vehicle-born improvised explosive device that they prevented from detonating outside the Iraqi police Al Qaim District Headquarters, Dec. 12, 2009, in Husayba, Iraq. The two policemen shot and killed the VBIED driver Nov. 22, protecting the DHQ, as well as 1,200 children in nearby schools, a farmer's cooperative and several residences.
