Iraqi policemen, Sami Naji Anezy and Mensur Noori Sherqy, who prevented a vehicle-born improvised explosive device from detonating outside the Iraqi police Al Qaim District Headquarters Nov. 22, 2009, stand with DHQ executive officer Lt. Col. Sabah and NIIA director Capt. Sabah, Dec. 12, 2009, Husayba, Iraq. The two policemen shot and killed the VBIED driver, protecting the DHQ, as well as 1,200 children in nearby schools, a farmer's cooperative and several residences.
