Elizabeth Torres, an Air Force spouse, starts crocheting a blanket during the knitting and crocheting circle held at the Kaneohe Bay branch of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Sept. 22, 2015. The society hosts the circle each month, with the next session happening at the branch, Oct. 15, 2015. The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society supports Marines, Sailors and their families with financial aid and free classes. The society as well as other civilian organizations located at Marine Corps Base Hawaii share the mission to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
