Air Force spouse Elizabeth Torres and Allison Meeder, layette coordinator for the Kaneohe Bay branch of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, craft blankets during the society's knitting and crocheting circle, Sept. 22, 2015. Meeder, of White Hall, Md., assists with assembling free blankets and other baby items for participants in the "Budget for Baby" classes. The society distributes free yarn to volunteers who craft the blankets. The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society supports Marines, Sailors and their families with financial aid and free classes. The society as well as other civilian organizations located at Marine Corps Base Hawaii share the mission to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
