Col. Curtis Buzzard, commander of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, along with Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Gustafson, case the unit’s colors in a transfer of authority ceremony in Baghdad, Iraq, Sept. 17, 2015. At the ceremony, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, known as Task Force Warrior, assumed the Advise and Assist mission in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve. The 82nd Airborne's Panther Brigade has been deployed to Iraq since January.
