U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade out of Vicenza, Italy, and 80th Civil Affairs Bn., 85th CA Bde., out of Fort Hood, Texas, use pickaxes to remove rocks and clear a pathway to Mokren Elementary School as part of a community outreach event held in Mokren, Bulgaria, Sept. 7, 2015. Paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade and Soldiers from the 85th CA Bde. are currently deployed to Bulgaria as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing, multinational partnership focused on combined-training and security cooperation between the U.S. and other NATO allies.
