Cpl. Erik R. Estradaojeda, a security guard with the Provost Marshal’s Office aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, searches a vehicle Aug. 14 during bilateral force protection training between service members and the Okinawa Police Station. Marines conduct force protection training aboard installations worldwide to ensure proficiency in maintaining on-base security as well as communicating with outer entities. During the training event, a Marine posed as a suspicious individual attempting to enter the base in multiple scenarios. PMO Marines apprehended the suspect and rehearsed notification and turnover procedures with the Okinawa Police Station.
