ALOGUINSAN, Philippines (August 3, 2015) Construction Electrician 3rd Class Tanner Church, right, and Steelworker Constructionman Paul Carey, both are Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, pose with local students after the ribbon cutting ceremony for Aloguinsan Elementary School. The Seabees assigned to NMCB 5’s Construction Civic Action Detail (CCAD) Cebu, Philippines are constructing school houses at Poog Elementary School and Aloguinsan Elementary School, which will serve more than 2,000 students after the additions are completed. The CCAD's mission is to execute engineering civic assistance projects, conduct skills exchanges with the host nation, and perform community relations events to help enhance shared capabilities and maintain relationships.
