    ALOGUINSAN, Philippines (August 3, 2015) Philippine army Brig. Gen. Castro cuts the ribbon to Aloguinsan Elementary School with Lt. Justin Erholtz and Steelworker 2nd Class Joshua Brewer, both are Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5. The ribbon cutting ceremony signified the opening of newly constructed classrooms for Aloguinsan Elementary School. The Seabees assigned to NMCB 5’s Construction Civic Action Detail (CCAD) Cebu, Philippines are constructing school houses at Poog Elementary School and Aloguinsan Elementary School, which will serve more than 2,000 students after the additions are completed. The CCAD's mission is to execute engineering civic assistance projects, conduct skills exchanges with the host nation, and perform community relations events to help enhance shared capabilities and maintain relationships.
