Col. Laurence Linton, Chief of Staff for the 311th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), receives a tray of food prepared by the culinary team from the 387th Quartermaster Company (Mortuary Affairs), a down trace unit of the 311th. The team was competing in the 48th Annual Philip A. Connelly Awards Program for Excellence in Army Food Service at Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, Calif., on July 25, 2015. The 387th was the last Army Reserve unit out of 10 to be evaluated this year and, if selected, will move on to represent the 79th Sustainment Support Command at the Department of the Army level of the competition.
