Army Reserve Spc. Anuar Fuentes, a culinary specialist with the 387th Quartermaster Company (Mortuary Affairs), bastes his savory chicken recipe while competing in the 48th Annual Philip A. Connelly Awards Program for Excellence in Army Food Service at Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, Calif., July 25, 2015. Enough meals were made to feed the 110 anticipated Soldiers from within the company, as well as evaluators, advisors and VIP guests. The 387th was the last Army Reserve unit out of 10 to be evaluated this year and, if selected, will move on to represent the 79th Sustainment Support Command at the Department of the Army level of the competition.
