UCH SHARIF (Ahmadpur East) -- Special Services Group (SSG) of the United States Army carried out several missions in three days in coordination with the Pakistan Army to evacuate marooned people. The team, which included medics and engineers, also inoculated several hundred persons and distributed thousands of pounds of foodgrains in the vicinity of this small town which was under flood water from four to twelve feet the people of this town and villages around fled from the furious flood water and took shelter on tree tops and sand dunes and badly needed foodstuff, aniti-cholera vaccinations and other anti-biotics.
