The crew of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan stand in the ship's hangar bay as Rear Adm. Scott Hebner, commander, Carrier Strike Group Seven, tells of his experience being present at the Pentagon during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Ronald Reagan's crew gathered during a routine maintenance day to pay homage to those that died in the terrorist attacks Sept. 11, 2001 during a "9/11" memorial service. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
