Maj. Gen C.S. Sullivan, Director, Air Coordination Element, dons his flight gear in a aircrew survival equipment shop aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Maj. Gen Sullivan is aboard the aircraft carrier to observe Ronald Reagan and Carrier Air Wing 14 Sailors in the accomplishment of their mission in Afghanistan. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
