Sailors perform early morning maintenance on an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Fighting Redcocks" of Strike Fighter Squadron 22, on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Cleaning and maintenance are done regularly on all aircraft to ensure equipment and components are functional prior to flight operations. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
