Two U.S. Air Force personnel are positioned inside what appears to be a military transport aircraft, likely a C-130. The foreground figure is a Master Sergeant in ABU (Airman Battle Uniform) wearing full parachute harness and jump equipment, tactical helmet with visor, and communications gear. A second airman in an olive flight suit with a U.S. flag patch stands behind, wearing sunglasses and a communications headset.

Air commandos from the 321st Special Tactics Squadron await a thumbs-up from U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kade Bollinger, 67th Special Operations Squadron loadmaster, to jump off the ramp of an MC-130J Commando II assigned to the 67th SOS at RAF Mildenhall, England, to perform military free fall to the historic La Fiere drop zone near Sainte Mere Eglise, Normandy, France, June 7, 2015, to commemorate the 71st anniversary of D-Day. More than 60 SOCEUR operators performed the MFF jumps, which were a small portion of the commemorative events which took place in strategic World War II sites throughout Normandy.
