    Sgt. Michael Nance, first cook, 108th Aviation Regiment, prepares a pan with cooking spray prior to making scrambled eggs for breakfast during Vibrant Response 09 at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Aug. 1-9. "I like to see the smile on people's faces when they have a good meal and when they thank us the next time they come through. That is my favorite part of working in the DFAC," Nance, a native of Kansas City, Mo., said.
