Brig. Gen. Michael Thompson, the assistant adjutant general of Oklahoma for Army, and Lt. Col. Brey Hopkins, commander, 157th Infantry Regiment, Colorado Army National Guard, hear first-hand stories about Dachau Concentration Camp from one of the liberators during a reception held by the U.S. Consul General William Moeller May 2, 2015. Members of the Colorado and Oklahoma National Guard participated in various ceremonies May 1-3, 2015, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp, Dachau. The 157th Infantry Regiment, one of the units that liberated the camp on April 29, 1945, initially mustered from the state of Colorado.
