Members of the Colorado and Oklahoma National Guards honor those who died in Dachau Concentration Camp during World War II by laying a wreath at the Leitenberg Cemetery in Dachau, Germany, where over 7,400 prisoners were buried. Members of the Colorado and Oklahoma National Guard participated in various ceremonies May 1-3, 2015, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp, Dachau. The 157th Infantry Regiment, one of the units that liberated the camp on April 29, 1945, initially mustered from the state of Colorado.
