A U.S. Army soldier named BOLDEN is conducting combat casualty care training using a medical mannequin dressed in ACU (Army Combat Uniform). The mannequin has simulated wounds including fake blood on the face and a nasopharyngeal airway (NPA) inserted, along with a red triage tag. At least two other soldiers in ACUs are present, suggesting a group training exercise.

Jeremy Blackwell, NBC specialist, Special Troops Battalion, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Multi-National Corps -- Iraq, to a litter in preparation for evacuation to a casualty collection point outside of Al Faw Palace. For the exercise, Golden, who calls Denham Springs, La., home, used combat lifesaver skills to treat Blackwell, of Pensacola, Fla., for shrapnel wounds to his face and torso. MNC-I Soldiers participated in a mass-casualty exercise to gauge the military leadership's policies and procedures set in place for times of emergency.
