Brig. Gen. Arlan DeBlieck, commander of the 7th Civil Support Command, retired Gen. Gordon R. Sullivan, Christa Dirgins and Maj. Gen. Jack O'Connor, commanding general of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, cut a ribbon after the ceremony memorializing the 7th Civil Support Command's headquarters building. The headquarters building is now the Brig. Gen. Richard J. Dirgins Army Reserve Center, named in honor of a former commanding general of the 7th Army Reserve Command, the predecessor to the 7th CSC. Christa Dirgins is the former commander's widow. Sullivan, the president of the Association of the United States Army, who served as the 32nd Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army and as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1993-1995, was the guest speaker.
