Mrs. Christa Dirgins and retired Gen. Gordin Sullivan unveil a shadowbox, painting and plaque dedicated to the late Brig. Gen. Richard Dirgins April 17, 2015, at Daenner Kaserne. The 7th Civil Support Command memorialized its headquarters building as the Brig. Gen. Richard J. Dirgins Army Reserve Center. The guest speaker for the ceremony was Sullivan, the president of the Association of the United States Army, who served as the 32nd Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1993-1995. American and German military and officials attended the event. Dirgins is a former commanding general of the 7th Army Reserve Command, the predecessor to the 7th CSC.
