SASEBO, Japan (March 10, 2015) Capt. Mark Benjamin, center, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), highlights Frank Cable's machine shop to Capt. Mike Dowling, right, Commander, Mine Countermeasures Squadron 7, during a tour while the ship is moored in Sasebo, Japan, March 10. In total, Frank Cable completed 126 jobs amounting to more than 9000 man-hours of work while in Sasebo. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility and is currently on a scheduled underway period.
