Maj. Gen. Margaret W. Boor, commanding general of the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command, helps unveil the memorial plaque for Sgt. Shawn M. Farrell II along with, from left, Farrell’s widow Allison, mother Heather and father Shawn during a memorialization ceremony March 7 in Saugerties, N.Y.,, that named the Army Reserve Center there for Farrell. Boor hosted the event, which was attended by representatives for U.S. Con. Chris Gibson and New York State Sen. George Amedore, as well as Maj. Gen. Glenn J. Lesniak, deputy chief, Army Reserve.
