    Sailors aboard the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate USS Thach bow their heads in prayer during a burial at sea ceremony for retired Cmdr. Dale Simmons, a former wingman of the ship's namesake, Adm. Jimmy Thach. Thach's crew also held a wreath laying ceremony in honor of all the Sailors and Marines who fought and died at the Battle of Midway. USS Thach is currently underway on a routine deployment in the Western Pacific.
