Marines and members of the Japan Self-Defense Force smile for a picture after exploring an MV-22B Osprey Feb. 12 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. A group of reserve officers from the JSDF visited Futenma to get a mission brief on 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, as well as exposure to the MV-22B Osprey. This brief was part of the Japan Observer Exchange Program where Marines and sailors with III Marine Expeditionary Force and members of the JSDF gather to increase their interoperability, understanding and cooperation. The aircraft is with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st MAW, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Robert Williams Jr./Released)
