Lt. Col. Joel Severson, Task Force 34 Headquarters Chaplain from Princeton, Minn., received a Bronze Star at an award ceremony on Joint Base Balad, Iraq on April 27. Awards were given by Col. Clay Brock, Task Force 34 Commander. The Bronze Star is given to individuals who display bravery, acts of merit, or meritorious service.
