C Company, 2nd Battalion, 149th General Support Aviation Bn., carries a patient from their UH-60 Black Hawk medical evacuation helicopter to the new Pickard MEDEVAC Compound. C Co., 2-149, held a ceremony to name their MEDEVAC Compound in honor of fallen Spc. Heath Pickard, 1st Bn., 5th Inf. Regt., automatic rifleman, who died serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Pickard MEDEVAC Compound naming ceremony was held on Joint Base Balad, Iraq on April 20.
