A soldier with the Canadian Royal 22nd Regiment calls for a radio check in a simulated, early-morning raid during the annual multinational exercise Bold Alligator, Nov. 7, 2014, on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C. Canadian, British and Dutch service members conducted the raid with U.S. Marines playing the role of insurgents in an urban-combat training facility. Bold Alligator is a scenario-driven, simulation-supported, amphibious assault exercise and is the largest exercise held on the East Coast.
