This infographic from SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement displays a bar chart showing the top ten countries of citizenship for international students in the United States. China leads significantly with approximately 325,000 students, followed by India at approximately 130,000, with the remaining eight countries showing considerably lower numbers. The chart uses varying shades of blue to represent each country's bar.

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) released “SEVIS by the Numbers,” a quarterly report of international students studying in the United States. The October 2014 report is based on data from the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a Web-based system that includes information on international students, exchange visitors and their dependents while they are in the United States. It includes a special section on international students from India.
