This is a density map infographic produced by SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, showing the number of SEVP-certified schools by U.S. state. The map uses varying shades of blue to indicate concentration, with darker shades representing higher numbers of certified schools. California leads with 1,197 certified schools, followed by New York with 646, and Florida with 550.

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) released “SEVIS by the Numbers,” a quarterly report of international students studying in the United States. The October 2014 report is based on data from the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), a Web-based system that includes information on international students, exchange visitors and their dependents while they are in the United States. It includes a special section on international students from India.
